We would be very happy to see you at Blessed Hope Bible Church. Visitors are always welcome and we think you will find us to be a warm, friendly and caring congregation.

    

We are interested in the spiritual welfare of each child, teen, adult and family in our neighborhood and everywhere. BLESSED HOPE is a very small congregation with a prayerful desire to grow by focusing on the Bible and its message of GOD'S KINGDOM. We view the Bible as God's Word and therefore the foundation for all that we try to do. We strive to have an ever expanding ministry and a positive awareness of our responsibilities to the world in which we live.

We are affiliated with the Church of God General Conference and Restoration Fellowship. We feel that God has blessed us richly in so many ways for many years. We give Him all the praise for all the gladness we enjoy.

 

The name "Church of God" is based on the Apostle Paul's salutation to the church in Corinth. (1 Corinthians 1:2; 2 Corinthians 1:1) The subtitle "Abrahamic Faith" distinguishes us from the many other denominations that call themselves Church of God. Abraham was the recipient of many promises from God, and he was a man of great faith. He was an outstanding example for all who desire to please our God and Father in heaven. We're also affiliated with an association of churches known as the Illinois State Conference of the Church of God. We are bound together by the theme: "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Galatians 3:29)
